Our Story
Dromex was originally founded in 1998, operating from a 750m2 warehouse, supplying marine based products to ship chandlers. From this humble beginning, Dromex has grown into Africa’s leading manufacturer and distributor of work wear and personal protective equipment, operating from a 25 000m2, state of the art distribution facility.
Dromex is dedicated to the personal protective industry, and the people who use our products. We are active members of various SABS technical committees, such as SAPEMA and SAIOSH, with the Dromex brand becoming synonymous with quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.
